This post details each different measurements along with its sizes on each Ektorp sofa model. It will also cover all the measurements and images of the discontinued IKEA Ektorp sofas such as the 2 seater sofa bed, corner 2+2 sofa bed, chaise lounge with armrest(s), Tullsta armrest and 2+2 Corner sofa.
Sizes are written as Width x Depth x Height – that’s the 2 widest points of the couch, the depth of the sofa armrest as well as the height from floor up to armrests (not to the top of the back cushions).
Also note that these are the measurements of the Sofa and not the actual slipcovers it self. Depending on the fabric choice, the slipcovers will be sewn accordingly to accommodate fabric stretch & fitting. Hope this helps.

I have an Ektorp 2 seater (not sofa bed) that needs a new cover. The measurements are approximately. Sent pictures to Ikea who confirmed this was Ektorp…not year.
62 width across the back
33.5 height from the floor
40 depth along the side
The cushion seat is 31.5
The replacement cover I purchased does not fit. Not sure of the year. Any guidance would be appreciated.

No problem Donna,
Just send in a photo of your couch to us at info@comfortworks.com.au and we’ll be able to confirm whether or it is the Ektorp 2 seater 🙂
For the most part though, the dimensions don’t seem to fit with any Ektorps we know so it’s quite possible that it’s not an Ektorp altogether.
Hope to hear from you soon nevertheless!

i have an ektorp, don’t really know how many seaters it is. it’s length is 195cm, it’s a sofa bed. i wish to have the cover replaced. please let me know if i can by any chance getting 2 or 3. whatever colours are ok…
by Chuck
Of course you can get covers for it Vivian,
But if you’re not entirely sure if it’s an IKEA Ektorp model – kindly send a photo to us at info@comfortworks.com.au firstly, just to be doubly sure what sofa it is 🙂
Based off the measurements you’ve provided it sounds like a 3 seater but best to send us that photo first.
Hope to hear from you soon!

Hello,
Hopefully you can help us. We purchased a Pottery Barn basic 2-piece sectional off of Craigslist about 5 years ago. We are looking to replace the slip covers, but in our research we have found that our 2-Piece L-shaped sectional (a Right Arm Return sofa and a Left Arm Love Seat) is approx 96″ x 96″ which is closer to the dimensions of the Ikea Ektorp than the PB Basic. We bought the Ektorp slip covers from Ikea and they almost fit, but there is a difference in the quality of construction, the chsuoons are all snugger, and there is a detail in the “shoulder” where the arom meets the back. There are no labels or identifying marks on the sofa anywhere so we can’t tell if it’s a PB Basic, an Ektorp or something else entirely. It does have round plastic legs like the Ikea, and the dimensions match the Ikea, except for those corners. Also, the Ikea has one slip cover for the entire L but we have seperate covers for the loveseat and the sofa.

Hey Jeff!
Would your sectional be either of these? http://comfort-works.com/en/pottery-barn-sectional-covers-223
If not, do send us a photo to info@comfortworks.com.au and we’ll help you get the right slipcover for your sectional 🙂

We have an ektorp 2+2 sleeper. Is it a different cover than the ektorp 2+2?
by Felicia
Hey Chris,
The Ektorp Corner (2+2) Sofabed/Sleeper Sofa is indeed different, so their covers aren’t interchangeable. It’s available on our website here:

Hope this helps 🙂

Does the older style ektorp sofa come apart? It was purchased 10 years ago.
by Chuck
Not too sure actually, John!
Do you have a picture of it that you can send to us at info@comfortworks.com.au? This way we might be able to narrow down exactly which model and version you have – we’re definitely sure that the more recent Ektorp (5-7 years) can be taken apart as they come flat-packed.
