IKEA Backa Sofa Range and Slipcovers

This range has been discontinued by IKEA.

Discontinued in 2009, the Backa 2.5 sofa is sometimes mistaken for the Backamo 3 seater. The main difference is that the Backa has less curvy arms and 4 original throw cushions; its original cover also doesn’t have a skirt so its legs are exposed. If you’re unsure, get in touch and we’ll sort you out. Note: Our Backa 2.5 seater covers are made with pleated skirts like the Backamo by default, so let us know if you prefer the short skirt version.

If you want to know how to assemble a Backa sofa, here’s the instructions.

      Hi Floor,

We do indeed – this post is actually quite outdated, would you be looking at the Backa 2.5 or 3.5 seater?

Do drop me a message at info@comfortworks.com.au if you’re interested in getting slipcovers for your Backa.

      Cheers!

I’d love to know the Measurments for the discontinued Backa 2.5 seater? I think that’s the sofa we have but not sure!

          Hey Jessica,

Measurements are actually quite tricky so it’s best that you send us a photo of your sofa, and we can draw lines of measurements on it to show you exactly which parts to measure.

Both of us will be on the same page and we’ll minimise any room for error or confusion 🙂

Our email is info@comfortworks.com.au – speak soon!
