I am a huge fan of Artie Vanderpool, New York interior designer extraordinaire, but who also writes a lovely blog. He’s been featured on HGTV, The Nate Berkus show, Buffalo News, Niagara Gazette, and most recently featured for his great layered look.
Most homes you find featured on magazines and interior blogs are styled for the photograph. Some even have additional furniture brought in to make the space look more chic and to fit the brand’s aesthetic. But to be fair, lots of home are just plain gorgeous and some people REALLY REALLY DO LIVE LIKE THAT.
And guess what? Comfort Works’ Lino Brushed Ektorp sofa slipcover is sitting pretty in his home!!!
When Artie contacted Comfort Works for a slipcover project, he wanted his Ektorp to include a bolster slipcover ala’ Restoration Hardware. Boy, that was a great idea. Look how chic it turned out! I have been procrastinating over getting extra support for my sofas, but Artie showed us what a great addition it is. I have to put in an order soon. Artie , has such a great eye and have THAT sort of lush home that looks picture perfect. Oh’ how I envy.
I love the lighting, the layering and coffee table, don’t you? I have a mild obsession for Restoration Hardware now that Artie has brought them to my attention. Oh’ how I wish Restoration Hardware ships to Australia!
Here is a snippet of what Artie mention in his review:
“It fits like a dream, in many ways better than the original white ones that I bought at the store! The linen blend is soft and – true to their promise – brings the warmth of elegance to the room! The zippers are heavy duty, and the sewing is impeccable!”. Read more here.
Thank you Artie!
