Cool Factor: Nice to look at and super modular, basically allows you to lego the pieces into a giant sectional.
Ugh Factor: Not the most comfortable IKEA sofa, sags and compresses over time.

Our Review.
The sofa could be more comfortable but cushions all around seem to make it work and it is rather aesthetically modern looking – the only downside to the Tylosand is that it sags over time. See our full review here:

Although this model has been discontinued in IKEA stores, Comfort Works is still producing replacement slipcovers for the IKEA Tylosand.

Hey Sara!
It’s probably best to have one custom made as the Tylosand sofa has been discontinued for quite a while now. You can either go to your upholsterer or an online dealer which sells cut-to-size foam 🙂

We only have the cushion covers and not the cushions themselves, so they may not be the exact sizing you’re after. Perhaps you’d like to check with your local Ikea store for some assistance there?

When I measure the base of my two seater it’s 158cm (62.25”) not 154cm (60.6”)
Anyone else have this problem or are the dimensions given of slip covers assuming they stretch over the xtra 2”

Hey Ella,
That’s interesting! There is usually a 1-2 cm leeway, but 4 cm is a pretty large discrepancy. I do not believe we’ve come across a fit issue due to the sofa being broader/larger than usual, but in any case it there is always a possibility that some other variations do exist.
Since slipcovers are generally not stretchy in nature, we would recommend getting in touch with us via email before placing your order 🙂

I had the same issue. I got the same measurement as Ella on the 2-seater, and 94 inches (~239cm) on the 3-seater, vs the 234 listed on the site.
