Our Review.

The Tomelilla was sold from 1993 till 2005 and will always been a classic. A deep seat and feather-filled cushions made for a comfy sitting experience, although the fact that the back cushions were loose might not be for everyone. Rolling casters really helped with those interior redecorating itches though!

Jeffery, what do you mean by inner part, are you referring to the lining fabric that covers the foam insert? if so, we dont’ make lining covers for the inner cushion, not yet at least.

      Afraid not, Susan.

However, if you are handy you might be able to DIY the mattress a little by getting a foam made in the same exact size as your Tomelilla’s original mattress. We must note that this is to be done very carefully of course as there is no guarantee it will work, though some might feel it’s worth a shot 🙂

We bought a sofa bed in about 1993/4 Ikea
Still have it looks very much like this but two loose bug cushions at back….
we had a foam mattress made
    works perfect ,,,tip….measure carefully
I don’t think I can get covers for the sofa now
Did have it reupholstered in 1999 too which is great but want different colour now

      Wow, Jean!

Thanks for sharing 🙂 If the frame is similar to the Tomelilla, it could be a predecessor (something we’d be so interested to know more of!).
For most curved/rounded-back sofas, it would be safer to work with a tailor/upholsterer to have the sofa re-covered in person. It is definitely challenging to get covers custom made online and not many places do this, either.

If you ever are curious, just drop us an email at info@comfortworks.com.au and our agents will be happy to take a look at your sofa and provide some helpful information as to what your options may be.

Good luck, hope to hear from you!
