Kivik 3 seater in Performance Blend Cream fabric

Status Check.

Status: Sofa and Slipcover are available from IKEA, but for some reason the slipcovers are always out of stock.

Slipcover: IKEA Kivik slipcovers available from Comfort Works

Measurements: IKEA Kivik sofa dimensions and measurements.

Cool Factor: Large, spacious, contemporary and modern looking. It has large armrests that serve as additional seating and the armrests can be detached when joining the Kivik with any other Kiviks to create a Kivik sectional.

Ugh Factor:  Unnaturally low armrests which just doesn’t feel quite right. It’s also a little pricier than expected.

Our Review.

We were so excited to try the KIVIK for ourselves that we took the day to visit the IKEA store just see how the KIVIK felt in person. To read our full reviews and first impressions on the sofa, click here.

In short, the Kivik is actually quite a looker and somewhat comfortable for an IKEA sofa – but it’s just a little bit pricey.

Although this model is still available at IKEA stores, Comfort Works offers slipcovers in alternative fabric and leather options for this model. Check out our loose fit long skirt Kivik slipcovers as well for the 2 seater & 3 seater models.

Hi there, I’m looking for the Kivik Corner Section cover in dansbo dark grey. I already have the chaise and sofa and looking to get the corner piece but I can’t find dansbo dark grey anymore and love the colour. Do you think you could help me?

    Thank you!

      Hey Amanda,

A bit tricky as we’re a separate entity from IKEA altogether, so colour/fabric matching is not a 100%. However you can look through our range of fabrics to see which one is closest to the IKEA Dansbo dark grey here: http://comfort-works.com/en/home/fabric-samples-24

Order some samples to check them out in real life and place them next to your existing set, I’d say Gaia Charcoal may be the closest 🙂

      Hope this helps!

    part no.
    121227 x1
    121230 x1
    121228 x2
    121231 x1

    Thank you!

      Hey Joven!

Unfortunately we aren’t affiliated with IKEA in any sense and don’t sell the parts that you need — your best bet is just to head down to your nearest IKEA store and get the brackets actually, sometimes you can even get it for free 🙂

      Hope this helps!

I bought a chaise secondhand and went to IKEA for the cover, bought kivek and it’s too big. Do u know if they changed the size dimensions of these pieces?
Tag on bottom of chaise says
    Carb 2
    1147
    Not sure if this helps.
    I want a beige slipcover

      Hey Brian,

We’ve not seen a tag like that before, not from IKEA at least – so it might not be an IKEA product after all.

If you’d like us to confirm this, you can send us a picture of your chaise to info@comfortworks.com.au

      Hope this helps!

Hi we have two kivik 2 seater sofas is it possible we can purchase a bracket to fit the two 2seaters together if we took 2 arms off to make a 4 seater as we want to change our room around

      Hey Tracy!

That’s definitely possible, but if you were to take the 2 arms off (which originally come with their own covers) the nuts and bolts of the 2 seater’s side would be exposed.

As an alternative, you could get three or four 1-seaters instead or we could custom make covers for you so that the sides are covered if that’s what you decide to proceed with 🙂

Hope that helps and make sense!
