The Beddinge is your typical “clik-clak” sofa bed designed to be reclined at various degrees – either upright as a sofa, flat like a bed, or somewhere in between. It comes with 2 cushions that can be treated as pillows.

Hey Rebecca,
If your futon came originally with your Beddinge, it should be somewhere around 200 cm x 104 cm. A good way to be sure is to simply measure your Beddinge mattress 🙂

Is the mattress inner spring or foam? Has IKEAS Beddinge sofa bed mattresses always been this material? Thanks.

The IKEA LÖVÅS, MURBO and HÅVET mattresses (all compatible with the Beddinge sofa bed) are all foam, no springs inside 🙂

Hi. I am aware that the Beddinge has been discontinued, but we have broken quite a few of the wooden slates and were wondering whether you’d know where to get some, or at least tel us the slates reference number so we can order some. Thanks

You’re right -unfortunately, the Beddinge sofa bed was discontinued some years back. You might still be able to find second-hand units sold over ebay, or similar marketplaces. I did check around here and unfortunately, we do not have the reference number for just the slates 🙁 So sorry!
