Cool Factor: Slipcovers and sofa are still available in IKEA across the glove. Easy to maintain with easy to remove slipcovers. Highly modular and can be grown and configured in many ways.
Ugh Factor: Few slipcover options available on IKEA, assembly can be a bit confusing especially at the very first step – the rotating bar can be rotated, but a lot of force is needed.

Our Review
The IKEA Soderhamn is a unique yet stylish sofa design. Its thin armrests give it an extra modern and contemporary feel, however the armrest isn’t something you’d want to put your hand or head on. If you want something a little more softer, adding a few extra pillows around the arms would be a great suggestion.
Still, it’s a yes from us! One of the many plus points is that you can always build your own custom sofa set with the modular Soderhamn. Whether to fit in the corner of your living room or as a grand sectional couch sitting in the center, just purchase a few sectional components and it’ll look great.

I would suggest that you get some samples now and again when you want to get those armrest to make sure the fabric is a match!

I am having a hard time to find whether the cushion cover come together with the sofa cover set or not. The product description on the Ikea website only say about the sofa cover and nothing about the cushion cover. Could you check it and inform me please? Thank you so much.

While we are not IKEA per-se, here’s what I found :

If you scroll down to “Package Details” you will see that the covers are there. An added step will be to check the product code with IKEA to see which pieces are included.
An alternative will be to go to “Assembly and Documents” – open the PDF for the covers and have a look-see – the manual usually shows you all the pieces it comes with (cushions included).

Does the Soderhahm sofa include the lumbar pillows as shown in the photo on Ikea websites? The included pieces broken down below the photo doesn’t make that clear.
